How the fck do i know?

well , its relativly easy to know if u play good or just run good

1.) Just look at all pots that werent setups ...
If u win AA vs KK on 558 board -> this is not skill this is run good
if u win 22 vs KK on 2J3 board -> this is not skill this is just run good
If u have FH > flush and Straight > set and all such stuff this is all run good
if u have a AsQs on 5s6sTh board and shove flop and villian calls with QQ and u hit ur flush on river -> this is not skill this is run good

i guess u can figure out the situations were u won a pot , just because villian had a hand that was so good that he simply could not fold
All pots won , cause u had a monster and villian had a very good hand , too -> run good

now where is the skill part ?

ALl the pots u won when villian had a bad hand he could have fold ... but he still called
ALl the pots where u stayed disciplined and folded though u had a good hand but u know u were probably beat
Most of the non showdown winnings and stuff where u won a pot before going to showdown.

SO now look through your hands and see if ure making money from situations as in 1)
or if u make money from situations as in 2)

depending on the size of your sample , 1.) will even out in the long run ( since they will happen the other way round,too) and so the money made from such stuff should be exactly 0 in the long run and all your wins should come from 2.)

How big is your sample and how big is your winrate ?

U will realize with growing experience where the money u make comes from.
As long as u dont realize what ure edge is your probably just running good for the most part

There is a trend here at lp to diss on pokerev but it's allin graphs show a big part of the luck factor imo, also programs like setometer can give you some additional clarity how you are running. In the end it's impossible to know fore sure though, there are so many aspects of the game that are hard to track...
