That's right... new version of Poker EV released today and the screenshots are pretty tight. The corners/windows are more clean cut just like the stars lobby. I dl'd the patch and it still looks the same wtf?
Then I find out for the past few weeks my hand histories weren't importing properly and had to DL the patch and figure shit out for 30 minutes. More tilt.
This past weekend I took 2 complete days off because I was tilting by relaxing, having lots of fun, and fucking. Twas awesome but I come back to play 1k hands today to run into some beats. This doesn't bother me at all but when the bad days stack together like this you start to question your own ability...
I read some past "quitting poker" threads to try to psych myself up for a comeback but poker has been weighing heavily on me for a long time I just don't understand...am I even a winner? The graphs says I am, PT says I am, but my BR doesn't reflect that. Here are some pics since May 20, almost a month worth of hands.
I'm afraid that because I was running hot, I won't be able to mentally handle running bad. Regardless, what am I doing wrong? Obviously I'm bleeding money in non-showdown pots. The past few days I've been trying to practice more post flop trix but may have bled off some chips. I'd appreciate genuine criticisms about my play or stats on stars...thanks LP

wat? 7k hand sample is lol. 30k bad runs are common. 10 buy-in downswings are standard.
Your stats look a little on the tight side for NL50 on stars. there are so many fish to isolate and play position on at that limit, and the regs are all nits and let you get away with it.
Your graph looks very solid for how tight you are playing, the lines often diverge far more than that.
best thing to assure yourself about your play is to look over big pots in PT (both won and lost in equal measure). you'll know from looking if its just running bad of if you are spewing hard and missing value. |

I agree with what Silver said, you seem to be following standard cookie cutter TAG style poker, and obviously that's good enough to beat NL50 6-max on stars.
How many tables do you play? I play pretty LAG on 4-6 tables, and there's a TON of dead money to be made by just stealing pots from guys who play robotically (via squeezing, barreling in good spots, floating, check-raising "c-bet flops", etc.), and you can also make sure you're playing the "premium" fishy tables running by constantly rotating in a new table when you find a bigger fish. I think you'll move up either way, but trying to really tailor your play to each table as well as practicing good game selection will benefit you more in the long run. |

New PokerEV? What, where? The future or am I missing something? |

My work is of high quality, cheap and fast. Pick only two of those though. | |

Play some full ring for a bit. that's what I'm doing and it feels nice. It's a nice break, very relaxing. |
