F.E
How possible is making 25 buyins while starting with 5 bi at nl25 @pokerstars?
I know it's all variance, our skills and how we run, but still, THEORYCRAFTING:
Very doable, right?
and questions.
DO YOU EVER EVER, LEAD out to pre-flop raiser if u are oop? do not count sets here.
When to do that?
DO YOU EVER EVER, check/call flop and then lead out turn? why and when to do that?

in theory you can lose your 5 buyins with top set against bottom set 5 hands in a row

Like Myth said, you can c/c for example 77 on K25 board and then donk the turn for ~40% pot if pfr is the type of player who cbets and then checks back something like JT on the turn.
If turn is A I think it's best to check but generally you wanna fire a bet on any other turn card.
If you have 5 buyins for nl25 then you should play nl5. If you're good enough to beat nl25 you're gonna beat nl5 in no time. If you're not then why would you gamble at nl25?
And about leading into pfr when oop without sets - sure. If your opponent is somewhat reasonable then he wont cbet a flop like 6c7h8h with for example KQ multiway so you gotta lead out with your for example flopped straight.
So when you cant c/r him... I dont know. Leading out with big draws gives you chance to be first all-in and if he raises your donk bet he leaves more money in the pot then just cbet after your c/r.
There are no absolutes in this game. Maybe except folding aces pf but you get the point lol |
