Most of the time the biggest pot won and biggest pot lost is something standard, but this hand is actually quite interesting to me. I think AQ is one of the hardest hands to play, especially in big pots, and even more so out of position. The way I tend to go about it is instead of hating it and groaning like I used to, I use it as a great all round hand.
In a nutshell, I could have AQ at anytime, whether I'm calling, raising, squeezing, shoving, or folding. Learning good balance with all your hands I've learned is key, and again AQ in my book is one of the hardest ones for me to profitably do correctly.
I had no hud up at the time of this hand as PAHUD did some error violation thing and had to be restarted after I had brought up a new table. I should find out why it does this. I've learned when this happens, the hud will not be coming back up at the table until the hand you are playing is over, so don't even bother waiting.
Anyhow, both the cutoff opener and the button where LAGGY types and so that made me instinctively want to squeeze while ahead here. I had the squeeze all made out and ready to fire, but decided last second mixing it up was better. Then when I flopped TPTK and found myself out of position in a three way pot, I made a plan right there. The flop raise really surprised me though, and I did tank before calling on the turn, but deduced he put me on a draw, and most of the times villain would not be overbet/shoving a set.
