Moved up to NL50 6max at end of July with a bankroll of about 1.4k.
Its been really swingy so far. One day Im up 2 BI, the next day I lose it right back.

Been running somewhat bad (I think) but definitely playing REALLY BAD.

The problem is that I'm way more passive in NL50 than in NL25. When the passive fish (you know the 70/2 type)
start raising postflop and the pot starts getting big, I get the shit scared out of me. I either slow down or fold
when I know very well I should be shoving.

Here are my stats which is pretty fugly.

Im running at 17/13 when i usually do 19/16 at nl25 so I'm definitely more passive. I dont like my 3bet %... I didnt get
alot of AA,KK,QQ,AK in these runs but I'm also not 3betting light either. my WTSD is so low its scary so Im giving up too easily.

I have tons of leaks in my game. I definitely need help but Im not sure which resource is best for me. A coach will be pretty expensive which I probably cant afford. CR/DC/Leggo sub seem to be more geared towards MSNL. I really think I need a few live sweat sessions and/or go over HH

Cheers
Mike

17/13 ?

thats way too tight for 6max

I recently tightend up my NL50 preflop game and now i am 23/21
I was 27/24 before....

only 13% PFR ?
playing that tight will make u miss a lot of blind steals , position raises , squeezes and profitable 3 bets ...
furthermore with only 13% PFR ure not likley to get paid off much.

I dont know about your postflop skills but it definitely seems u play like a weak and scared Hobbit from the stats.

Leggo is fine ...
its only liek 230$ for 6 month which u can make in 1day of NL50

U see what i did there with A8 ? He 4 bets and there we go insta jam A8 : ---booooom -- . hahahaha ( Krantz)

just stop thinking about it as money and instead as percentages. Before you move up a limit the 1st thing you should always do it ask yourself what you are comfortable losing at the higher limit. Figure out a daily stop less and a level down stop less. After that just play poker and forget about short term results.

I have learned from poker that being at the table is not a grind, the grind is living and poker is how I pass the time

I dont think I can play profitably with ur stats atm but ur right on me being really weak and scared. Ill need to loosen up if i want to win, there are so many profitable opportunities I miss by being so tight.

I've set myself 6BI before I move down and 2 BI daily stop loss. I'm not sure if I like the 2BI daily tho.. like the other day I was playing I got coolered twice within maybe 300ish hands and I made myself stop even tho I was playing ok

2bi is dumb unless you play like a monkey after losing some money but because you have such a small overall move down stop loss you should use that as your daily one. Look at this way, 750 is more than enough for 25nl so you should be taking constants shots when around 900+ to $50nl if your stop loss is 2 bi per session. The rate at which you learn the game will progress faster as will your bankroll. So yeah I would say don't stop playing 50nl until your bankroll is below 900
