after taking a fairly long break from poker due to vacation and school, I finally came back a few days ago. grinded out nl10, started nl25 today and wow, what a fucking rollercoaster. I just quit after I lost $150 in two consecutive hands that were two outers. for most of the ballers around here that is a drop in the bucket, but I feel pretty sick right now. I feel like I played fairly solid for most of the session but whatever.

both are standard coolers, but a 400bb 2 outer is pretty disgusting.
on a side note, kwark and I were talking at the tables for a while, and it was good playing a few hands with you
there is some casino event going on at my college tonight so I'll just get plastered off my ass, spew there, and feel better.

First hand is definitely foldable. He's representing the boat and for 2 buyins I'd definitely consider believing him. Overshoving yourself isn't going to get called by much either. AA might consider it (although probably fold for the same reason you should) but that beats you. QQ beats you. JJ-33 would have to be retarded with a Q there for two buyins. That leaves AQ. Unless you have an excellent read that he always has AQ here it's just not worth it. |

Hand 1 is a cooler, just make a note that he flats with QQ. But this is totally cooler no way you're folding that.
Hand 2 however without any history on villian you should be CBing that flop. When he raises the only draw he could have is 89 I don't see a gutshot calling your 3 bet preflop. Also limp calling range includes things like 44/77 even 107. I mean his range to me is hands that beat you and air. Just some things to think about. |

hand 1 tons of people can shove with any A flush draw. Even up against KK they have any A and club out.. Also at NL25 flatting with QQ in 6 max is not the norm. If you are folding the 1st hand then the 2nd hand should be even mroe foldable. |

I never saw qq coming because of his flat preflop, and I saw him make some really fishy plays before so I was just putting him on any old q and expecting a call. |
