But I also wanna share this video clip with everyone where the McCain campaign had trouble explaining what experience Sarah Palin actually has... plus McCain was so upset about the "out of bounds" attack journalism (hahah omg cry more about NOTHING) that he CANCELED his appearance on Larry King Live in retaliation! LOLZ!!!

This guy wasn't very bright. It's an easy, easy answer. Sarah Palin has the advantage of whatever administrative appointments are/will be made by John McCain. She may not have the same sagacity as McCain in directing those people who are responsible for the foreign policy of the country, but she will have their experience and presumed cohesion to support her.
Bert I don't get the sense that there is much in the way of objectivity coming out of you lately! |

So why is that ok for sarah palin but not for Obama?
Cmon, we hear a few months about how obama doesn't have experience, and then he picks someone with even less experience. It's a downright contradiction and undercuts their own argument. The point isn't that she will obv get advice from experts to help her figure shit out. The point is that when a Dem has no experience it's the end of the world, but when a republican has no experience it's a "breath of fresh air".
I don't think she's bad cause she has no experience - I think she has bad judgement. I think Obama has good judgement. That's where my justification for the lack of experience comes into play.
And do you really think she was out of line? Do you think she was so bad that McCain should cancel larry king live in retaliation? Cmon, seriously?
I'm lost on why this isn't objective.. |

Mockery and derision are usually signs that someone is not attempting to remain unbiased.
I don't think she was out of line, but I do think a lot of the so-called journalistic coverage of the election has been. The media favors Obama, that's clear. Just look at George Soros.
I never agreed with or supported the McCain campaign attacks on Obama's inexperience; but it is nonetheless rather reactionary and limp-wristed for the Obama campaign (and/or his adoring media fanbase) to turn around and do the same. And do you really think she has bad judgment, or is it that she advocates policies contrary to your own interests and beliefs?
No doubt Obama, if he wins, will also appoint a lot of experts to advise him on this that and the other, and likely he would take a lot of advice from Biden on whom to appoint. You've got young and old, inexperienced and experienced on both tickets, in more-or-less an interchange. Though when it comes down to this particular issue, I'm more comfortable with making the decision to put the greater power in the hands of the experienced individual. McCain may die at any moment, sure, but he may also live another twenty years. Attacking his campaign on a hypothetical does not make a convincing argument. |
