I'm a Starcraft player, who like so many others, got sucked into the world of Poker after reading about the epic journeys of Rekrul, Elky and other ballers.

So I gave it a try, played a few freerolls to get to know the game and after about a week I deposited the minimum amount of $10 to my account using the first2008 code and started playing the smallest cash games I could find on PokerStars. I pretty much hopped around $10-$20 all the time and got greedier all the time, a few days ago I decided that I'd get farther in money if I played those low HU SnG's as they seemed to be very easy. By luck I won about first 10~ of the HU SnG's I entered and started feeling awesome, well obviously luck ends somewhere and now after a few weeks I found myself being at $14 after a bit of a losing streak.. and with a bit of tiltiness on me.

So right now, a few hours later and even more tilt power I find myself here with $0.73 and 99 FPP.. 1 point away from getting the $10 bonus, which I'd probably lose in a few days anyway.

I'm not too sure you should donate though, I'm sure you'll find a more deserving person for it. :/

If you do decide to donate though I can start blogging about my success (or even more failure) as a thanks. If someone cares, probably not.

Yeah, about half way through I understood how dangerous it was playing those SnG's with so small bankroll but decided to go for the 100 fpp bonus anyway.

lol u should feel lucky people willing to send money to u, just grind microstakes and play with a proper br and you should be fine. gL in the future

Find some articles on basic hand selection and strategy and proper bankroll management. Then start out at lowest stakes and make your way up according to bankroll management rules.

you should play the .10$ 360 person sit and go's if you start to get really low on money, I make money in about 80% of these things and the MINUMUM payout is double your buy-in, with first place being like $8.00, allowing you to win just one of these and having it pay for 80 more!

Yes, I've been reading most of the Poker Articles here in LP and am going to be looking for other guides also, possibly purchasing a book by a professional at some point.

Ah, I'll have to give those a try, thank you for the tip! Seems like very risk free.
