i actually just registered yesterday! they have people all around campus outside of every building asking if you registered yet

Yeah that's the best way to do it. I've been one of those clipboard people over the last few months and I updated my address and switched to a permanent mail-in-ballot using the same form I had people filling out, and it worked beautifully.

If you wanna vote you better move to Florida or Ohio or one of the states that, you know, actually matter. That's why our system is fucked up, only 3-4 states decide who the next president will be. We need to seriously switch to popular vote, it's fucking ridiculous.

On a side note, even if you can't decide the president, research the people running for Congress or your state legislature. Your vote might actually make a difference in those races.
