Played some 100NL today after 2 days of no poker (besides playing a 100K tourney yesterday which I busted in 20mins lol. donkaments). First prize was 16k, would have been nice *drool*. Anyways got 200VPPs this session, I need to win 2100 more before the end of the month in order to make Platinum Star (VIP rank). It's going to be quite doable at 100NL and somewhat tough to make at 50NL.
Hope I can make Platinum Star so I can ship massive FPPs next month and buy lots of Futureshop Giftcards rofl. I've been thinking about getting a PS3 or a 360 in order to actually use the dormant HD features of my television.
I think I've got a much better idea now of which boards are cbettable, since before I'm cbetting nearly all boards. Also reading people better I guess and understanding how to play against different types of villains better. Also starting to utilize position a lot more post flop.
Session:
EDIT - Question for you all using HEM. Once you buy it they give you a key which will work twice, in general one for your desktop and one for your laptop. But what happens in the case of your PC crashing/having to format/new computer or anything like that when you have already used both keys? I've looked on their website but they don't seem to have a support e-mail address.. Anyone know how to go about this?
Second session:
Stop at hand 350 obv. I was going to, but I thought why don't I get some more VPPs. Bad idea. 50VPPs < $130. So annoying when this happens. My roll was above 3k so that was pretty cool. Not anymore though.
