As most of you know, November 4th, we'll be having a massive cluster fuck of the unproductive in my nation. But aside from the lost GDP, and the consequent exacerbation of our fickle economic situation, there's something more at stake here. A bunch of people with no clue what the fuck is going on will be casting their votes for politicians who have pandered to the lowest common denominator with campaign platforms such that one can only resignedly say, "yes, we ALL want houses, we ALL want health care - and not just for ourselves, but for others, too - we ALL want a strong economy, we ALL want things, in general, to get better. Thank you for saying so. BUT, tell me more: how do you plan to do it? Why are experts in your respective fields projecting estimates for your plans that have margins of error in the trillions of dollars? The question here isn't so much ideological as it is: do you actually have know how to do ANY of what you're proposing?"

And what slogan is encouraging ignorant Americans to vote for apparently hollow politicians?

"If you don't vote, you can't complain."

Enumerated in our very bill of rights, in fact in our very first amendment is the right to unlimited complaint, which we as Americans hold so dear. Do not be deceived. All is not lost. Here is a revision of that dread slogan and a tribute:

So, on November 4th, if you are so unfortunate as to wake up and discover yourself in a voting booth, boldly write "none of the above is acceptable."

u do realize how hypocritic and limited this thing is about right ? I mean yeah many stuff are true but many are just ridiculous

bottom line :
there must be a government that controls "the crowd" otherwise everything will be out of control
tho its true that every candidate for president/prime minister/constitution monarchy minister in any country acts like he s Superman but that is only so coz like it or not 80% if not even more.. of the people are super ignorant & just not smart enough to make the best decision for themselves... which leads to the need of having a government which leads to the abuse of the govornments over everything...

This is also connected with the educational system in the USA ... it wont change ...ever... In fact other countrys take a example from the USA's .... and thats because it was designed so that it doesnt make people use the full potetintial of their brains... believe it or not its true and there this leads to making the " public " become a " crowd" coz a "crowd" is much easier to manage than people who know what the fuck is going on...

and indeed bottom line : the world s too complexed place there r too many different points of view that can be equally provided with the good enough arguments to defend em

what i suggest is DONT look at any of those kinda manipulative videos and stuff all u gotta do is decide whether its worth to vote for any of the candidates and if it is just decide who s the better one for u (yeah normally u should vote for the guy thats best for the nation but everyone these days is selfish so i dont even know why i bother writing this nails)

you seem to have it pretty figured out that people are dumb and need to be controlled

i guess the answer to this problem is to choose the one that is less unacceptable than the other

i mean, a president WILL be picked. so you might as well go with the one who's you think is likely to at least keep our problems from worsening, if not solve them.

if they're all the same to you... then just vote obama because k2o4 is trying so hard.

on a more seriouscat note, is the intent of this post to make readers aware of the possibility that there is change outside the influence of our elected officials? I'm sure that the average college-aged LPer is well aware of this and their naivety works both ways. We can say that the Man sucks yet most (like myself) are unwilling or are too preoccupied to fully research the viewpoints of each and every representative. In the end I believe it would be better to first take care of our personal priorities before getting actively involved in politics (but not to the point where people are completely oblivious about these influences). Even if we do manage to take the time to support our leaders they might not get elected anyway. And there goes like 50+ hours of your life down the drain lol.

This is where I'm coming from on a political level. Don't care enough cause it doesn't affect me but meh, it would suck to have stood by and not made a decision on a better candidate, ya know? I've done the bare minimum by voting this election year and hope to be better informed by the next. hit me back with something yo
