I've been beating NL10 pretty consistently for the past 3 weeks or so... passed the $400 mark in my bankroll a few days and I've been winning since then as well.

Approximately I've got about $440 and I'm feeling pretty good at NL10. I'm interested in taking a shot at NL25 but I've had some people tell me that there is a big gap between NL10 and NL25 so I guess I'm just open to any opinions from knowledgeable players on LP.

Worth taking a NL25 shot with about 16-17 BIs?

feel free to move up whenever, but be sure to move back down after you lose a few buyins

I think the most important thing is to decide how much confidence you have in being able to grind your roll up at NL10 again if your shot fails. You have to be quite confident (over a pretty big sample preferably) as it's easy to lose some money on a failed shot, move back down and then lose some more. This could really mess with you so take some time to consider.

I started 25 when i had 1k, 25 is probably the first level where you find equal number of regs and fish on 1 table. You have to make some adjustments but with that many buyins I don't recomend it cause you have a bad run and your down 100 or 200 and its very hard going back to a lower limit

to live the dream you gotta play the game

I don't find a very big difference, my winrate is actually much higher on 25 (lol ftp rake)

Do whatever feels right. Just be sure to have a pretty tight stop loss. You'll probably feel like shit if you lose +3bi (or at least I would, but then again I've always been somewhat easily distracted by poker related losses).

If I'd have to recommend something, I'd say wait for 500 and then take a 2-3 bi shot.

Make sure to move back down if you feel uncomfortable with the bigger stakes and lose a few buyins.
