hi lpnet,
i am an american nl50 stars player trying to deposit $600 on ftp to get the 100% bonus via moneygram. i've done some research and the service itself seems popular & legit. however, the instructions i received from emailing cashier@fulltiltpoker.com tell me to list the receiver as some guy in Nicaragua, and that this guy's name is to be used only once and will expire in one week. this seems incredibly shady to me, but i am fairly new to poker and not familiar with how deposits work outside of e-checks. has anyone done this successfully and can vouch for it? i've been looking for threads on 2+2 and this site but can only find passing commentary on this deposit method.
thanks a lot, and sorry if this is a stupid question about a standard spot. i'm aware there's a whole bunch of legislation that explains all this, but $600 is most of my roll and i'd really like some verification before i do this =]

pokerstars had the same thing if u wanted to deposit via westernunion.
they give it name and adress and the same will propably work on fulltilt too |

nah its ok. ive done the same with ftp countless times. but it's usually to a person residing in colon costa rica if i remember correctly, use western union like i did and you'll be fine. |

yeah, ive done this, it works. when your at moneygram they give you reciepts and such so that if the transaction goes wrong you can get ur $ back(what they told me) |
