I know I already did a blog today but this got me excited. Ive been grinding my nuts off at $.25/$.50 LHE for this whole month. I started with $250 and told myself that I would not move up until I had 500 BB for the next level. I finally go there today and it feels pretty good.
Tomorrow Im going to give the $.5/$1 game a shot. Its pretty close to the same game as the $.25/$.5 but a little bit more aggressive so I wont have to change my style to much, maybe just showdown a little bit more and I should be good to go. Hopefully we dont have to drop down and its just smooth sailing. If I lose 100 BB at anytime Ive decided I will drop down and stay discipline no matter how much that might suck.

ahhh, the memories of boring painful grinding on limit holdem. i hate that game. bad beats are such a common factor.
I was on the same journey as you at one point. GL. Don't tilt. And try to move over to NL, it's such a better game. |

Ive played a lot of NL man but I just cant do it for some reason. Im just a lot better at limit games in general because I feel i get more value out of my hands. Sure there might be a few more bad beats hear and there but Its not like you lose your entire stack because of it and eventaully you will get them back. LHE for me for a long while lol. |

I used to play LHE when I first started poker before I took a 1 1/2 year break. I was playing 3/6. It's a rough journey man. The variance is much worse than NL. You can definitely make good money in it though. You just have to deal with the swings. |

the thing that tilts me the most is losing my entire stack... thats why i cant play nl |
