Ending November early, all good seeing as how I hit my hand goal anyway. As far as cash games goes, it was yet another huge disappointment, but thank god for my previous 10k winnings in tournaments. Combined with rakeback, various other poker-related income, and donkaments, I'm probably up around 10 or 11k ish this month. Amazingly, one of the better months in recent memory for me, although still a big, big disappointment.

Eliminating the ev/showdown graphs, just to show how swingy my month was.

Given how shitty my life has been this fall once I started school again, I decided to start pampering myself a bit more. I'm eating expensive food once again (a habit I stopped around the Summer in an effort to conserve money), and I'm buying myself a bunch of presents here and there. I'm making money for a reason right? Lately I bought these:

PlayStation 3 Logitech Driving Force GT Racing Wheel

For my copy of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue that I just bought (and will be getting GT5 when it comes out). I love racing games and play a lot of Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 3 at the arcades if any of you are familiar with that, and I figure going from that to a playstation game that's supposed to be "realistic" (and holy shit it is) but playing it on a stock ps3 controller would just be a huge cop out.

Also bought Left 4 Dead the other day and have been playing that with a few poker homies, it's pretty good anti-tilt

I wanna get that wheel and GT5 too.. But I need to get a PS3 first

What's your take on PS3 vs Xbox 360? I'm 90% gonna go for PS3.

i originally got PS3 for MGS4, and I'm definitely getting the FF13s for it as well (and GT5). Blu-ray has been really awesome as well, and so far I have zero regrets about getting a PS3 despite not even playing games that much.

I hear xbox has a ton of good shooter games but I don't know about them so I can't really say. I'd have to say the blu-ray player alone makes a huge difference though.

Yeah the thing that appeals to me a lot is the blu-ray + the ability to stream all the stuff to my tv from my pc wirelessly. Thanks
