I think I had a pretty decent November. I failed a chem and a bio exam though so fuck but the poker is pretty decent.
I talked to my cousin about rebuilding and he said if I was already a winner at NL25 there should be no reason to rebuild, so I rolled myself up for NL25 and started playing and I ran pretty bad at first so I moved myself to NL10 to rebuild the roll after losing 5 buy-ins.
Here's some graphs.
This is how I did at NL5:
NL10:
NL25:
Then I read a thread about short stacking on LP and decided I'd try short stacking NL100 with really no clue on what I'm doing (yes you can be a bad shortstacker as opposed to a good one). I won about like $100 or something and then spewed it all back and then some pretty fast as I was getting in lighter due to winning. I realized I was bad at it and it was pointless because even if I get lots of FPP in fast, I have no use for it as I'm not currently clearing any bonus anyway.
I remembered I had a $300~ or so bonus with rakeback at Cake I could still clear. I hated playing there, but I decided to short stack and just clear what bonus was left. I ran bad the first couple days losing lots of 80/20s and lots and lots of flips, but after Thanksgiving I started running better. They also had a turkey reload bonus so I took advantage of that ($100 in bonus).
Here's my stats for Cake then.
I started clearing the bonus with
Deposits: 750+400
Uncleared bonuses: 300+100
It's already a new month on Cake due to time zones and my roll is sitting at 1350 and I have 230 in bonuses left to clear. I'm going to get $45 in rakeback for the month of November in a couple of days so my roll will really be at 1400, so it's not that bad for a week or so worth of work. I'm improving my short stack game from when I started.
Finals are coming for me and after I clear the bonus on Cake (and life at school), I'm going to come back to Stars and grind NL25 til my roll is ready for NL50 (unventured territory!!!). Gonna hope and see if I can cash out of Cake for good for around $2000 by the end of December or so! GL to everyone else on poker and in school if you're a shitty college student in me. I should also go probably grind the books instead of the poker tables.

The only hands a nit balances in his range are the nuts, the second nuts, and the third nuts.
