Just now got PT3 above $1k since July 1st, so its a good feeling, very happy with the grinding thats paid off so far. All i need to do now is master 25nl, which im up 5BIs this month, so im slowly going to make it into the green eventually. If i can do that then 50nl within 2 months, i'd be very confident with my position and may try and quit part-time job to just focus 6-10 hours a day, which would probably get me SuperNova, but 1 step at a time right?

Don't think about quitting anything anytime soon. NL50 is not a limit to try and make a living off of. NL100 is really tight to try and do it but works if you grind like a maniac. NL200 is really the first level you can play and live off of, and that's just barely. You gotta factor in downswings and having money in the bank to cover a 3 month break even streak and so on.

If i played poker 15 hours a week, rather than my part-time job, i'd actually be earning more  . I'm 20 and living with my father so i havnt got much expenses atm. |

Yes, I am just now beating NL 50 and in no way will I quit my job anytime soon. But also, I am a waiter at Red Lobster and make $400-$450 a week off of ~30 hours. |

Congratulations. I have a feeling that next $4,000 is going to come a lot quicker than the first $1,000. I wouldn't go and quit your part time job just yet. It might have a positive impact on your poker playing. |
