every time i play live poker i ask myself why i bother playing live poker. i've never been bombarded by more idiocy/scumbaggery in my life. honestly, not allowing the scum to congregate in public should be the #1 reason for legalizing online poker, keep them at home.
today's highlight of ridiculousness came in a small pot. 5/10 game. one guy limps and it comes to me on the button with QTo. I make it 40. Doofus who is wearing a backwards visor and talking/acting like he's a foxwoods 5/10 regular makes the limp/call.
Flop comes Qc 5d 2d. He checks, I bet $40 and he calls.
Turn 9c. He checks, and I decide to check it behind cause I think he's pretty weak and I'll be more likely to get value on the river.
River comes 2s. He checks again, and I figure I'm right and he has A high or 66-TT maybe. I bet $100.
He proceeds to count out his stack, stare me down, recount out his stack, count out $100, stare me down, then finally calls. I flip over QTo. He stares at it and the board for like 10 seconds, then slams down QJdd and goes YEAH!!!!!!! BOOOOOO YEAH!! YES!! I JUST LOVE WINNING THE CLOSE ONES. YES! Then after he calms down from acting like he won the superbowl in a $300 pot at a 5/10 game, he starts saying to himself "I shoulda pushed it, I knew it! I shoulda pushed it!" as if I were somehow going to bet/call a $2000 overbet raise on the river with QTo.
I wanted to slap the dog shit out of that idiot.
I hate live poker.

i run alright in live poker but yea seriously there are some fucking clowns out there. I LOVE chirping them when I win and laughing at the shit they say. If I were you if I won a pot against this dbag I would shove it right back at him and say next time you win a small pot stfu oh and btw get with the times bud no one wears a fucking visor backwards anymore let a lone a visor. |

either way, i fucking hate live players too. i dont know what it is that brings them together like poker does , but theyre terrible terrible human beings... |
