Okay so lets start off with the fun stuff, NL50 lifetime sessions and graphs:

So right now, I am really crushing NL50 and/or running extremely hot. Yes, you are reading my graph correctly; I haven't had a single losing session since I took my first shot. As you can see from the stats of my sessions, I started off playing my standard TAG game and doing well, but lately I've been opening up my range a ton. I'm running so hot that it really feels like I can play almost any two cards profitably.

I'm closing in on the bankroll I decided to take my shot at NL100 with, but would anyone disagree with me taking a shot so early? I mean, I'm very confident in my game right now, but I've only played 14k hands lifetime of NL50.

My style is extremely adapted to the regs at NL50, who I believe I can exploit very well (which is why my range opened up a ton), but I have no idea what kind of regs I'll be playing against at NL100. Although I do adapt, I'm certain my playstyle is very exploitable if a person were to pay close attention. I dunno how capable the regs at NL100 are, but that's just what I've been pondering over lately.

Anyways, GL at the tables.

it's all about having the br to make sure you don't become 'scared money' moving up

so if you start playing and don't care about losing 4 - 5 buyins due to standard variance, just go for it

if you feel thats alot of money I should just stick to NL50 and create a bigger buffer, especially since nl50 is still probably alot of money for you

Poker is fun.

shot shot shot, 50nl FR and 100nl FR are basically the same game. Expect like a typical pokerstars doomswitch and maybe loosing like 3-4 buyins adjusting but then u should start beating it for a few bb/100 pretty easily...GL

The most important thing is to move down when u loose some BI, thats all.

Go for it. And grats on the results. Keep us updated.

You'll know if you're playing scared - if so then drop back and get a bigger roll crushing NL50 before you try again.

how do u feel emotionally about losing 3-400$ in a session? if u can handle it and move back down then take the shot, if not, wait until u feel u can comfortably lose $3-400 imo.

my first time moving up to nl100 i did exactly what you did, i crushed nl50 in like 10k hands and moved up, hit a major downstreak and it wrecked my confidence after losing 3 buyins in a few hundred hands, had to move back down and felt pretty shitty, so make sure u can handle the swings is all i will say!

yes take the shot. that's my biggest mistake through the years not moving upp aggressive enough.

make sure you move down after like 5 buyins, and you'll be fine.

All depends on your mindset. If losing money @ NL100 will tilt you and you aren't capable of moving down really quick, then keep doing NL50. You're obviously running really good to make 24 buyins over 14k hands. You're probably playing well too but there's a good chance you'll move up and run like shit and hate life. There's probably still shit to learn @ NL50 cause 14k hands isn't enough to get through all the situations. With all that said, if you think you can move down quickly if you run bad and if it won't affect you mentally, then definitely take a shot. If you continue to run well it will be awesome. And then when the heaterish times end you may have to move back to NL50 even if you're hugely rolled for NL100. Just think of it as a shot for a while - if you move up and win 10 buyins really fast don't think that you're really into the limit. You could still be running well and then you might suddenly start running even and hit a bunch of situations that you have no idea how to handle cause they never came up while running good.
