Farewell NL10 we had good times.
I was running bad (breaking even) for a few sessions and decide to take a day off, watched the whole Death Note series (anime) 37 episodes (20m each) and it's definitely one of the best animes I've ever watched even if you don't like the genre i really recommend this one.
After that short break I made 2 really good sessions and now I'm rolled for NL25 with exactly 20BIs (500$) and it feels good to move up now, it was faster then i expected, this is my final (hopefully) graph in this limit.
I played much more MTTs then i thought in this period and I broke the bubble in 2 of them for 26$ and 43$ and i thought i was UP in MTTs but the PT data proved this to be wrong I'm down about 20 something and I don't know if I should keep playing them while grinding does anybody has some experience with grinding and playing MTTs every once in awhile ?
Anyway I also wanna ask people to take a look at my stats and see what they can tell me from that, I know this is not an exact science but maybe there is some major problem I'm unable to see.
Also regarding stats I would like to ask more experienced players about using stats to make the correct plays, for now the only thing i look for is VPIP and PFR, this is enough to differentiate donks from regulars but I think on NL25 there might be more than 2 tipes of players so any help regarding this is highly appreciated.
People in NL10 don't 3bet at all unelss they have a real hand so %3bet and %fold3bet it's really not an important stat, I'm expecting this to change in NL25 so that's why i wanna know more about interpreting stats.
Thanks for reading everything I really look forward to see other players impressions.

if this is fr your vpip is way too high, like 15 for low stakes would do.
If its 6max your pfr is really low. Stop all open limping asap if you are doing that. Start stealing a lot wider. Go for 40% on button or so. IMO you should fold to 3bet more, like 65 or 70 (assuming they are nitty with 3bets). Also nl25 players probably suck at adapting to loose 3bets so you can experiment with that too. Anyways before you start making radical changes to your play keep playing as you are used to and see how it goes. You will probably lose a little money when experimenting new plays and with 20bis roll you cant afford it. |

I play only FR, i think the high VPIP is a consequence of playing lots of marginal hands against a certain kind of players, I'm always sequeezing miniraises from donks with A10 JK and stuff like that, i think i win 80% of the times i do that (they fold) and on the rest of them i watch the board and try to take the pot even if i don't hit, this players are really weak and fold way more then they should, I can see this becoming a problem against smarter villains so I will choose spots more carefully. |

I can guarantee you would be more profitable with a lower VPIP. FWIW, a 27 VPIP is a lot wider than AT and JK |

really good advice from auffenpuffer.
unless they are 3betting really tiny (near a min raise) you have to fold that pocket pair, don't set hunt if they 3bet decently, it won't be mathematically profitable |

So 40 BI for NL25 ?
Do you really think that's necessary ?
I mean so far i haven't got any downsing higher then 5BI (8 tabling) so I'm inclined to think that an 8 BI stretch will be enough, meaning that if I get down to 300$ I'll move back to NL10.
Other consideration is that I'll be staying in this limit for a much larger time since I'm will not play NL50 with less then 30BI but maybe I'm rushing to this conclusions given that I haven't had any challenge so far.
Well thanks for the inputs. |

My VPIP is 21 not 27.
Yeah I'll not change my game at first, will wait for when I have more solid data on players and get used to the new limit. |

40 is probly excessive but 20 is too low, I'd go for 30 or at least 25 if your super confident |
