At a level like 25nl where everyone is super stationy and bullshit, is there ever any point to trying to put someone off a hand even if you can tell they have something super marginal? Here is a hand for discussion:
+ Show Spoiler +
In this hand because of playing with the guy for a while and the way he acted I knew he had a ten. Against a reasonable player I might bet all three streets to get him off this marginal holding. I have found 25nl players to be crazy stationy though so I rarely make this move. Do you guys agree that giving up is the best play even when I know the opponent is weak?

i double barrel only in very rare cases at Nl25

barelling stations is wrong, first you have to define that he is a station or not.
However, this isn't that case in this board. In this board there are a ton of pair +draw hands or just draws so if you decide to barel this turn it hits his range a lot for 2 pair /one pair now+draw etc so you have to bet river as well which would only be a good idea if you think he would always raise two pair on a drawy turn or that he won't talk himself into calling river just because "he's commited"
In some cases it would even be best to not cbet the flop,if the villain is passive as they usually are at these limits. |

Multiplie barrels are probably profitable on any level - you just have to pick spots and get good at seeing whats a good spot for it and whats not
The hand in example is not a good board to barrel three streets. You got a flush draw out there + straight draw on turn. Boards like A72 isnt good against a bad player either b/c hes never gonna fold out any ace. Dry boards in general though should be good, as a J24r or a 725r |

I'm saying I know this guy had a ten because of how he was playing, for what its worth he did the exact same thing with QJ on an AJX flop later, against this type of player where I'm not worried about the draws (or maybe there are none) is it worth it to try to put him off second pair?
I guess Pplus basicly answered my question though |
