Was just wondering what sort of programs you guys use, for antivirus, firewall and whatever else thats needed. Never really had any problems with viruses or whatnot just by being careful with what i download and where i go, but i guess having rolls online entitles to some more protection.

for work i use Ubuntu, so i have integrated solutions there
for fun and anything else /like poker/ Windows XP SP3 /SP2 is a MUST for security/, and ESET Smart Security for antivir, firewall, spam filter, spyware remover, ...  |

You basically need one AV program, one software or hardware firewall and some antimalware program. I use avira antivir premium, comodo firewall free and scan with malewarebytes too.
Oh also make sure you use firefox and you dont need to worry so much about spyware and such.
If you really want to go serious defence you can look into sanboxie and such, thats really the nuts. |

u do know u can run poker on ur ubuntu? i play PS on here and it runs perfect fine with wine |

ofc i know i can. i use ubuntu only for work because i like to have a free, non-spammed, clear enviroment for developing. and obv if i boot ubuntu, i have to work, i cant play poker /i could, but damn it sounds good like this |
