Thanks to everyone who scolded me for my neilly move. I definitely let myself tilt due to the disappointing poker results over the last 2 weeks and the extra downswing I had on a day I'd been looking forward to crushing, along with the small fight with the GF. It was way stupid. Didn't seem it at the time, but in the morning reading peoples comments while fighting a hangover it seems very very stupid.
I just wanted to thank everyone for calling me out on it. I definitely don't want to be that type of poker player.

Pfft...it wasn'n THAT bad of a neilly move, you'd still have soemthing in your BR to grind NL50 if you failed 
But Brett if you find that you're susceptible to this (like I was), if there is even a 0.000001% chance that you would go into monkey madness mode, there is a chance that it WILL happen again. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend restricting your playing limits on stars to 100NL for now. That way you can let stars know when you're entirely ready for 200NL.
Glad to see you recovered. I've neilly'd my whole bankroll twice in my career and lost both times (1 cooler and 1 really bad preflop shove)

I was a bit drunk and didn't understand either, hence why I got even more upset. There was more to it, poker was just a small part I think. I have a feeling the fact that I was drinking so much bugged her the most. |
