Same Shit Different Day
I finally had an epic tilt and played outside of my BR, as you guys saw on my Xmas eve blog. That was the first time I ever did that. Definitely will be the last. Luckily I ran good during the idiotic move so I was able to recover a nights worth of loses. Since then I've been grinding very carefully and with a lot of discipline. I recovered from all of the holiday pain and got back to 4k last night. Today I did a quick NL200 shot during a sweat session with my coach and we ran like shit. Managed to salvage it into a 1 buyin loss. Oh well.
The plan going forward is to work towards 6k. I'm going to play NL100 as my main limit till I hit 6k, but I will take NL200 shots along the way IF I have 4k in my BR AND the tables are really soft and I feel confident, OR I'm doing a sweat session with my coach. Otherwise I'll keep doing NL100 till 6k. Once I hit 6k I am gonna do a 10 BI shot @ NL200 and play there till I drop to 4k or I tilt. If I start tilting I'll jump back to NL100.
Lots of if's and other conditions on all of that eh? But I like it. It's a plan that has developed through lots of experience and I think it fits me just right. The good thing is that I'm not scared of NL200. I've played a decent # of hands there and whenever I've run at least even I've won money. Sadly I've been running like shit whenever I try to play it so that sucks. But as long as I keep regrinding and dropping down at the right times I will eventually get into NL200 and stay there. I'm positive about that. Just a matter of time.
Anyway, December looked like it was going to be amazing but ended up sucking balls cause I got pwn'd by a downswing at the end.
Oh well, let's hope that January is a heater month. January is when I had my insane 50 BI heater last year, so maybe I will repeat ^^
