I just wanted to make a quick blog post to say how amazed I am at this Pilot who safely landed a plane with failed engines on the Hudson River and had ZERO FATALITIES.
I can't imagine the amount of skill, courage, and calmness under pressure necessary to facilitate this but I really think this is one of the most amazing news stories of recent times. This guy is the definition of hero and deserves like 6,000 international medals of honor as far as I'm concerned.
I can't even wrap my head around it, it's such a miracle and beautiful thing.
Sucks how 99.9% of news is so negative.

Totally agree, when I heard about this I thought it was another tragedy but I was pleasantly surprised when I found out what really happened.
