Yo.
So only 799 players registred to the 250k gtd on ipoker yesterday with 100 payouts.
I ended 97th and Im really dissapointed. A 375$ profit cuz i got my seat from winning a satellite is decent I guess for a nl20 player. But I'm really unhappy with one of my last hands in the tournament..
So I was a little bit over average in chips and was ranked in 48th place when there was 101 players left. I had around 25BB left and I checked and saw that the 101th ranked player only had 1/10th of an Ante left so I decided to do something stupid.
I'd been playing really awsome the whole tournament and this guy who's been pretty solid and not showing down anything crazy over the time we sat together opened for 2.5xBB in CO+1 and it was folded to me (who was in the BB).
He had around 16BB left so I covered him with around 6BB or so. Then I decided to unclick my autofold button and instead overbet push 85s all in cuz of the 101th players stack and he snapcalled me with KJo wich I was impressed by, guess he owned me.. and I guess thats the difference by the avarage player in 5-15$ MTT's wich i usually play and this 320$ BI MTT.. And I looked very silly and I still hate myself for that move.
A guy in a lowerstake MTT would fold everything except KK and AA pretty much I think so I was very shocked when he just slapped me in the face with the KJo snapcall. Dunno if snapcalling 16BB with KJo on that EXTREME bubble is good or not cuz I had been playing reeeeeaally tight the last hours of the tourney.
around 4 hands later I was UTG with 4.5BB cuz of the antes and pushed K2s and got called by A8 in the SB and it held up. (Think I pretty much have to push any2 UTG with 4.5BB?)
But that 85 hand is eating me alive, I think its an "ok" move to do in that bubble situation where he is risking the whole tourney in 101th place and has to call 16 BB or so. I didnt expected him to fold his like, AJo+, 99+ hands or so but i really didnt expect to get a call by KJo..
I was pretty angry but I went out after 5 hours and got in time for the Superbowl wich my friends was watching (pretty much the only swedes that watches the superbowl i think? ) So I cooled down with a couple of beers and some chips infront a great great superbowl night and made a profit of 375$ wich is a very good session for me...
Though I had a great shot at going deeper if I just could have let go of the 85s hand, but I fell for temptation
BUT what REALLY irritates me that the KJ guy ended 4th and took home 15 000$..
Im a bitter man But you all know the feeling of doing something you regret!

Definitly a bad play from you, risking your tourney to win 1.5 BB+antes, especially when you're in the confort zone. But this is how you learn so don't be haunted by this hand there will be many many others, good luck.
Odds are exactly 50%, either happens or it doesnt

I played the monthly million with a mate yesterday on party
we finished 14th..
Also busted in a spot it was so unnecessary... around 11BB we pushed 47s from SB to tight BB but he showed us Aces... we couldve saved that steal and made it to the ft prolly
But thats quite a nice score for a NL20 player, gz
