Hmm maybe its like Mercedes in Europe....that are no big deal even taxi cabs are "exotic cars" over there. Here a shot of Patron is like....$13 bucks+. Its probably pretty prevalent in touristy areas in Mexico though.

Yeah its probably some regular overpriced tequila with a good marketing team, but no its not famous in mexico at all and it seems its not even TRUE tequila made from blue agave.

well put.. if you go to any tequila bars or anything that has specialty types, u will find endless amounts of diff tequilas that are "better" then patron, but patron is more main stream, all the rappers sing about it n shit... i personally really like the taste of it vs other top top shelf tequilas
