no offense man, but someone would have to be mentally ill to stake you, you try to play -ev games and your asking for stakes in tournaments that you haven't even played a large sample of, on top of that, your asking for 4k, when your not even good for $10

I would never ask for a stake for something I didn't know from experience that I can beat, you guys can call me delusional if what im asking for is something that i somehow can't beat?? But I can tell you if I had 20k sitting around as one of you knowing what I know about myself and I seen this blog post I would instantly jump on board for it I think it's pretty rare to find someone willing to put in the hours I'm willing to put in for a quick easy pickup of cash.

Why is it that nutshot and new born baby and every other mtt player in the world when they cant afford to or feel uncomfortable can ask for a stake and it be just business related but I get this.

I'm risking their money, yes, but so is playing the stock market or you even sitting at a poker table and playing. This is merely you looking at what I present and deciding if you are comfortable with taking the risk that I will win and or if you even think I can, and if you think I can't that's fine. I'm not trying to say I'm the worlds greatest poker player because pretty clearly I'm not. As I stated in my first post i'm not comfortable with depositing an amount of money that is sufficient to play $12 180 mans because I don't know how long i'm gonna be off work and I have 2.5k liquid dollars to live on hopefully just for a week or two.

I don't know how good of a player you are, and I wouldn't say "hey dont ask for a stake, you suck"
But I think that the fact that you say "i told myself I would never deposit again" and ask for a stake makes it all very inconsistent.

I think the risk comes in your tilting and going up limits and spewing, or getting drunk and spewing. You could be cruising away making that 50% ROI and then go out and drink another bottle of patron and wake up to find that it's all gone cause you decided to 4 table NL400 and got raped while wasted. =)

Just use FPP to win donkaments and then use the t$ to play real tournies and grind and build. Until you learn to stop spewing off your own money I don't think anyone will risk their money on you. Hell I like you more than pretty much everyone here on LP and I know you can beat micro poker games but I wouldn't stake you even if I had 100k. Part of that is cause I'm a nit who hates staking people, but the other part is that I would be worried about a drunken tilt off. Plus I think if you did pull it off and not lose the stake money and pay the investor 1k and everything went perfectly, you'd end up spewing it all off pretty soon anyway cause you haven't learned how to respect your BR. I have no idea what would have to happen to get you to keep a bankroll but my theory is that part of it is grinding the BR the hard way. I know that helped me. hehe

I would make a promise in whatever way possible to whoever wants to stake me that I will not play outside of the rules of the stake and if i did i'd pay them back 2x whatever they staked me to begin with. Yes, I can and would do that. I promise I am not gonna do anything but grind man I have nothing to do for 2 weeks and I just want to make the maximum amount that I think i'm capable of and I want to make some other lucky dude some money too

Dude, I make $32 an hour at NL25 and im moving up to nl50 right now, where the competetion is just about the same. So in 10 days time I've progressed from $32 to $55-60/hr

I play 5 hours a day for $250 a day, thats $1500 a week and $6k a month

why the fuck do u want to play SnG's when u can't get anywhere in that circuit

If you don't want to stake him and you consider him a bad investment then its fine for you to say such things but you can do that in one line you don't need 10 posts to make your point.

Crown, the players you've mentioned all required stakes for high level games and have consistently beat much more difficult tournaments than what you are proposing to play. As of right now in the eyes of this community you are a typical micro-stakes grinder with tilt and drunk poker issues. What you should really be asking for is a loan, presuming you have some credentials in terms of paying back debts on monies borrowed from this community and what not.
