So I decided to play some 200nl mostly to test the stakes and compare my winrate to my regular 600nl winrate. So far it's going nicely and I'm hoping I can sustain it.

I did suck out twice but they were pretty unavoidable cooler-type hands.

The players including the regs seem a lot less aggressive save for a few people who are in love with 3betting pf with random hands.

Was pretty sure I could get him off an overpair here (pretty sure he had it)

Gonna keep playing till I get at least 10k hands and evaluate my winrate then.

Are you actually looking to move back down possibly if your winrate calls for it? Or just find out what it'd be at, in the event that for some reason or another you want a change of pace etc?

Just curious what would motivate a midstakes player to research his small stakes winrate.

For several reasons actually, which include
1. I've been breaking even lately in 600nl. I've been running pretty badly there but also I feel like there are rarely any juicy tables to play.

2. I was down about 13 bi in January at one point but managed to make it all back, but since I'm in college right now and paying my own tuition I don't really want to play with much risk/large swings. My online BR can easily support 1knl but I don't play it because of this reason.

3. I play at pretty odd hours sometimes and I see only a couple 6max tables with 1 player at them. Really annoying to be in the poker mood and not have any good tables to play. I used to play a lot of 600nl HU but 6max seems much more profitable.

4. I heard from various sources that the 200nl game is much easier than 400 and 600nl for whatever reason and I wanted to see if this theory is true.

Anyways I doubt I'm going to play 200nl as my main game for very long, mostly it's just out of curiosity and a little break from my regular mid-stakes games.
