hand #1 - I think you have fold equity on the flop so the raise isn't bad, though i think a call is better cause you'll be in position and you'll look super strong and have lots of options on the turn.

hand #2 - I don't like calling a 3bet with AJ like that but if I do I definitely don't like raising the flop. =/
