edit: I just realized this is a pretty useless blog update, so I might as well post my NL50 HU graph so far to make it slightly more interesting.

50bb/100, obviously heaterish, but there seem to be almost zero good players at NL50 HU.

I love playing fish HU. You don't have to share them, you can tilt them, you can take all their money, let them rebuy, then take all their money again.

You can 3-bet purely for value, because they'll call all your 3-bets with random trash and play extremely spewy postflop.

first and second 3-bet pot against this guy

I'm not really complaining, I'm still up 3 BI for the day in 1.3k hands, but I was up 7 in 1k hands until I ran into this guy who was just on absolute godmode.

why? you don't really expect me to fold these at any point against a random fish who will spew horribly in 3-bet pots?

Hand 1 I give him the option to bluff the turn, because a lot of people at NL50 love floating in 3-bet pots, but I want to get it in because he's never folding an ace, hand 2 is 100% standard, no?

thanks Night

I'd really appreciate an explanation of your comment Faith. Here's an example of why I wouldn't even consider folding those hands at any point.

and yeah that was an even bigger fish than the one in the two hands in the OP, but making the most bizarre and spewy plays in 3-bet pots is a really common leak at NL50.

I don't play NL50 HU, so the players might stink more than i know. But by the way you played the AQo hand I don't think you're a winning player in the long run on NL50 HU.

It's definitely not a line I would usually take as I'm way overrepping my hand, but against this particular player I don't think it was bad at all. He definitely wasn't thinking about hand ranges and what I was repping at all.

I'm 100% sure that to him my line didn't look any scarier than if I'd bet turn in that spot.

But if you think my line's horrible for some other reason I didn't realize, please, educate me.
