250 sng's at nearly -20% ROI hahaha... -800$ for the day...
I didn't tilt... I reviewed hands after 3 hour sessions and everything seemed fine except for the fact that I couldn't win 80% of the hands where I was the favourite. So far it has been the worst day ever for me. Somehow it doesn't bother me and I don't know why.
I felt like I play well, I was getting it in as a favourite but just couldn't win. To lose -50 buy-ins at SNG's is not normal and literlly I've no idea where the problem is.
Few funny stories :
1) Comes down to Heads-up - we both have 6000-8000 chips... I have AA - let's raise it right ? Raise, villain re-raises... I min-raise, he reraises ( at this point I'm like "huh" ? QQ/KK ? wtf ? ) I go all-in and he snap calls.
He has Q6o and eventually outflops me.
2) Bubble... I have 6000, other guy has 6000 and there are two little shortstacks. Of course the second big stack decides to go all-in to isolate me and I call with AA. 83o>AA
I felt that I run like shit. I mean it's just hard to describe... Usually I tilt when I make bad decisions, but this time I thought I play well so there was no tilt at all. clueless.

I think the fact that you played well is the reason why you aren't bothered by the money loss.

Dude, i have had something similar. From 1 to 10 on the unlucky scale i was hitting the 10 with no problem. I never really recovered from that downswing. Thing is that in sngs variance is SO HUGE that sometimes if you run like total 10000% shit you may lose so much BIs that u go broke! I mean, if you r one of a small % of ppl running extremely bad that may take all of yo money. That is why i quit them. I always thought "theoretically, this should stop at some point...", "i will go over it.. i play superb!" "this will change in a week or month at most!" but in the end it just kept on raping my soul. I changed to cash even though i hated that decision at first i almost instantly loved it after making the change. I hope you do the same. Sngs are just extremely mega luckfull. GL and lose hope for the sake of quitting sngs, they rape souls, mate!  |
