Not that I'm close to moving up right now, but what is a good number of 100bb bi's to have before you move up in stakes and also whats a good number to be like, ok i suck time to move back down... Just curious...

"standard" is around 20bi move up 15 bi move down.

Some advocate even more aggressive shots, like 14bi move up 12 bi move down.

Or consdervative modifications such as 20bi move up 18 bi move down.

Some go with 30bi move up 20bi move down, etc.

It's what you're comfortable with and what allows you to play your best at the next stake that 's the most important thing, but i fyou have no preferences as of now just go with 20bi move up, move down ... prolly 18.

depends on what stakes ur playing, ur edge, the specific game ur playing (I'm guessing holdem but 6m or FR?) and ur dependence on the money

Multitabling NLHE FR...gonna move up to NL5...I play TAG....Here's my nl2 chart....Been pretty successful with it so far...I Just know i need to move up asap and move up past the rake fight lol...The money isnt used for nething other than more poker right now...solid 110 in the br...brought it up from 30..so yeah pretty excited to move up...just not sure when its safe...




If 20 buy-in's is enough...I'd love to move up...cuz i feel like its just going to mean more profits...so yeah...ne advice would be epic awesome.... :D

yeh 20 BIs should be fine (especially @ micro stakes playing a nitty low variance style) as long as you're disciplined enough to move back down whenever you feel your BR is too small for the stake you moved up to.
