This was my first month playing cash primarily. I didn't really have any goals other than to make something and get acclimated.

I played roughly 55K hands at 20 NL, making $800 + another $320 or so in rakeback.

My cash br is at about $1400 now, I think I may take a shot at NL50, and move down if I fall to $1000.

March Goals-
60K hands
Become an NL50 reg
Make $2000 from my play and $750 in rakeback.
LOOSEN UP. I am a self described nit, playing about 14/11. I'd like to make it a point to raise more hands pf, like J8s, pocket pairs and the like. I think I'd be well served to become about 20/15.

Are my goals too lofty? Any input would be appreciated.

nice result! are you playing FR or 6-max? I am actually playing NL10-NL25 on Stars and have similar stats as you (14-15/11-12), but i am playing full ring.

GL with your goals. If they are reachable depends on how good you are. To make 2k from NL50 isnt impossible I guess..

I started at 6 Max, but I really think that you have to be a better player to play 6 Max and at this point in my cash career, I clearly am not fantastic. Plus, when I opened my premium hands at 6 Max, I would rarely get action. Most of my play in the past month was at FR. I will work on improving my game at FR in the meantime. Ultimately, I'll be playing 6 Max. One of the main reasons for this is that my site uses the dealt method for rakeback, so for the purposes of that, when playing FR my paid rake gets divided by 10 but when playing 6 Max it gets divided by 6 and my RB improves. As a player who plans on putting in a ton of volume, the difference in rakeback is quite important.
