Poker at low stakes is supposed to be profitable because of players like this.
Why the fuck am I losing buy-in after buy-in? My last buy-in gained from a play like this was 2 months ago.

This will happen a few times a day if you play a for a few hours, totally standard, just need to get used to it and not let it affect you.

This happens within the first 40 minutes of every day for the past couple of weeks. Now I gotta switch to 1 dollar sit n gos just to preserve my bankroll. That's going to tilt me even more
Sick life? Plz? |

move down to nl5 then.
whining about suckouts is worse than whining about coolers.
edit: suckouts mean you got the money in good, while coolers mean you got it in bad. Why the fuck would you ever complain about getting your money in good. |

you were roughly a 70/30 favorite
which means you'll lose 3 times every 10 times this situation occurs.
30 out of 100
300 out of 1000
3000 out of 10000
etc.
It may happen 10 or 100 times in a row, but in the long run it all evens out. Don't complain about or try to fight variance, just accept it and grind on. |

I mean his play isnt even THAT horrific b/c you could easily have TT / JJ and cbet a high board and he's semibluffing to try to get you off those hands, which you probably would fold if you had them, then you shove over and he needs $4 to win $17 or w/e so he HAS THE ODDS TO CALL YOUR SHOVE EVEN IF HE KNOWS HE'S BEAT
Now whether he is aware of this I don't know. But I doubt you are aware of this either. If this happened to me and I'm villain @ NL100 I'm shoving all in on the flop against your cbet b/c regs 3bet light to defend their blinds all day. (ok I wouldnt call with 94s but I can DEFINITELY see myself calling with like 87s or w/e)
Similarly, if this was a single raised pot (say you're the pfr) again he has perfect reason to semibluff raise a good cbet board. |

ye u should prolly quit if u cant take this ... i mean u wont lose much .... just the potential of winning money, discipline urself, learn how not to whine like a bitch and stuff like that
stuff like that happen to every player on this site every day and one of the things that separates us from the losing players is that we can take this shit
when something like this happens to u , u should say "oh well fuck it it happens " note the guy and fckin continue |
