Ok so I see a lot of people say things like "his 3bet calling range includes a lot of x" or "his limp/calling range is usually x" etc. etc.
I'm just wondering (generally, on average, as guidelines) what the usual ranges for people are for:
limp calling (small PP and sc)
limp raising (im guessing KK / AA).
3bet calling OOP.
3bet calling IP.
anything else you can think of.

pretty hard to cateogrize every player into this since it's so dependant on everthing and everyting and a little more.
i might call someone who 3-bets me a ton with a pretty light range IP. but i might fold almost my entire range against someone whos i 3-betting me extremely little. What is my 3-bet calling range?
It's just so situational this. But my thoughts on the lower stakes is that people do limp-call with lots of pairs and junk Ax, suited cards, and they also call 3-bet pretty loose, both in andout of position (because they are generally not aware of position).
my tip is to pay attention to the tables and you'll figure all this out by looking at showdowns and review the play on each streets. in that way you can categorize each player at its own. |
