Well, had a pretty pleasant Sunday grinding 9 tables as you can see. I caught so many good hands that on one of my tables, my timebank had run out of time and I lost a ton of value getting autofolded. So I sent out an email to stars:

  Hello Pokerstars support,

Theres been an issue with the time bank at the games today. Typically, 30 seconds would seem to be enough time when faced with difficult situations at the table. When these decisions pile up on a single table, there is often no time left in the bank after the initial exhaustion of my clock. I was just 9 tabling today when these hands came up:

These 2 hands happened within 5 minutes of each other, on the very same table. I was more than flustered after the second time it had happened. Not only did the lack of time cost me the pot, but the full stacks of my opponents they had behind as well. as I was contemplating my raise sizing, my hands were autofolded. While I feel that pokerstars is technically very well adjusted for their software, in these instances these timing features seemed to work against their intended purpose, which is allowing players enough time to deliberate their actions without holding up the game. Once my initial reserves of "time" were exhausted there was little room for maneuvering.

I feel that the loss of chips were not completely my fault. as an avid pokerstars player, I kindly ask that you review these hands and rule a fair decision. Your patience in this matter is greatly appreciated. Cheers!

I feel that I'm entitled to some kind of compensation here so if support credits me with my deserved winnings, I hereby declare that with said winnings I will buy myself a nice footlong roastbeef with ranch dressing, extra olives, pickles, and yellow chili peppers.

you don't know how to go all in or something?

The only hands a nit balances in his range are the nuts, the second nuts, and the third nuts.

I can tile up to 16 tables on my 15inch laptop which is plenty for 6max. after a while I start to have to squint to see stats but HEM is very accommodating. Typically I'll click on a table's center, then in the action button regions to reduce chances of misclicking in big pots.

But I fake time like a foggit and own myself sometimes bleh

i think it'd be bullshit for stars to credit him money for this.

it'd be a terrible precedent if they allowed credits just cause you're too slow to act when you're choosing to multi table yourself?
esp if you got the nuts and don't know how to just go all in.

totally your fault vegable, "I feel that the loss of chips were not completely my fault."

rofl at this too

also besides how dumb the request is, you even blocked out your own name so they can't even verify it's you.
not to mention you can just edit hh's to link them

i bet ps support team is laughing their asses off

hmmm at these limits pushing in these situations is really not much of a factor with regards to bet sizing too much since theyre both far from 200bb stacks

Wow lol

Ok first of all I sent them the actual log + hand history file, and not a simple link to LP obv ROFL!!!!!

second of all, it doesn't hurt at all to ask. It ultimately is my responsibility to click buttons on time but since I play on their site a fair amount, a little empathy from a billion dollar company wouldn't be too far fetched.

The message was sent in good faith and not intended to "scam" stars out of $100. I think was +EV to notify them regardless. Will post results when received

i can see stars support sitting around the break room with one person telling the story of a player named vegable who wanted his money back from timing down on the nuts. Tears of laughter bursting forth as the punchline is released

jk veg, but I really really don't think stars would ever even consider doing this.

This isn't a ridiculous request:

that's different, gororok did not time out, there was a bug of some sort making him fold.

vegable is getting folded cause he did not act fast enough and his timer ran out.

i still think it'd be terrible precedent for stars if they gave him any money for this.
