I'm like u with sessionstops, i should also stop after -3buyins but i can't, yet, i don't tilt heavy anymore.
But still once u run bad, u can't stop it :D
Your red line is very downwards, do u bluff/ c-bet a lot in bad spots?
I've had -650$ in 7k hands or so on 50nl, so yea, keep up the work and try to get it up :D |

this is going to happen, again and again and again if you plan on playing poker. it's not gonna be super common, but it will happen a few times a month if you put in reasonable volume.
you need to learn to accept it as something you signed up for when you made the decision to play online poker, and you need to get less down on yourself.
control your emotions. know yourself, know your enemy.
best of luck.
also, your english is very good. |

This is what i've struggled with more than anything in my 6 months playing. nolan is right though. Just gotta take some time off, get your mindset proper and observe proper bankroll management |

pretty standard. We don't mind when running good, but we get tilt when running bad. Before each session I go thru some breathing excersises and reming myself a couple of thing to be able to focus better while playing the session. This might sound a bit funny to better players but it has helped me alot.
I sit down relaxed and exhale all air from my lungs. Then I inhale focusing on bringing the air deep down into my lungs, stomach area. I hold my air for a couple of seconds and repeat it a couple of times, while thinking about following:
- Just try to play good solid poker. Short term doesn't matter. If I play good results will show in the long run
- play strong in position and carefull out of position
- play big pots with big hands and small pots with marginal hands
- plan the hand ahead (if betting flop, what am I gonna do on turn, betsiting .. etc)
- take my time when deciding, what does my opponents line mean, what is the best line to take vs his line
- don't keep on barreling a fish that doesn't know how to fold
- focus on good game/seat selection
- respect my opponents. Especially when they make a donkish play and suck out. On the end it's them who provide the $$ in the long run.
I'm not into any kind of meditation or anything. Only used to do alot of free diving and stuff, and this probably seems kind of weird, but has really helped me alot and only takes about 3min of my time prior each session.

Dude don't worry. There is no way you can be a successful poker player and be so short term results orientated. I ran 400 under -EV last night myself and am down 1400 for the month against coolers/suckouts galore. Just gotta play through it dude, and understand its a fucked up but very common part of the game. The sooner you accept it the sooner you evolve/grow as a poker player and person. |
