I guess it depends on where you play or whatever, but I make sure that I grind because I know I'm making money even if I'm like breaking even (rakeback). Also just like tight up some when you don't feel like playing and just grind a real TAG style. That way you won't get exploited a lot but you also won't spew/tilt/play that bad. Just robotic poker.

I have the same problem can't play more than ~800 hands 4 tabling, after that I am not as focused

I try to play two sessions, one at night and one in the afternoon

2 sessions w/ bigger interval like if you do your 800 hands for 2 hours make a pause for 2 hours and then make another 2 hours session. Never play without a lust its bad for you in so many ways. Im speaking from personal expirience. Recently i am doing only 1 session per day for about 800-1200 hands and thats it.

I think, that before you start a session, you have to be focused on one thing - Poker. You cant be distracted by other things. If you do have the slightest feeling that you want to go do something else, then do it. Don't sit down to a session. You will not be playing at your best, and your mind will just wonder off on to other things.

Stop playing, come back later when you want to play.

Or you can swap game mode and play 6MAX, HU or SnG's which tend to be much less boring

Try to get the same amont of money you make from poker by working like ..whatever you like for a while.
Then get back to the tables and crush them.

if you beat the game and you can feel your edge you shouldnt be scared to play . Just get in the "omg i will destroy these donks" mood and enjoy the game
but if you're breakeven or in the middle of a huge downswing that can be the reason why you dont feel like playing .
if thats the case dont try to play a ton of hands ,spend more time analyzing your game and watching DC CR BFP and leggo , discussing hands etc etc until you reach that moment when you feel inspired and ready to hit the tables hard

What helps me to grind more?

Find some time to have fun everyday it doesnt matter what you do but it's improtant to be happy and cheerful
Working out & running will improve your mental toughness and competitive spirit
Setting a daily rakeback rule . How about 100$ rakeback daily thats 3k in a month
Reading about some top grinders like leatherass who log insane amount of hands
Read blog of someone who started playing after you but is doing much better
