boredom. I do the same thing sometimes. take some time off like a few hours.

i just punch my self few times in stomach or head after doing some stupid shit in poker
probably the best way to learn

this exact reason is why poker is profitable for someone who plays nitty and does a bluffy move every once in 1000 hands .... people play very very bad sometimes and thats how some people make the bulk of their money

just start your session with a totally different mindset. when you are beginning, open just 1 table, and be very deliberate about playing tight and trying to take copious notes for 3 orbits. after 3 orbits, open another table, start roboting the first table, and take a lot of notes on the 2nd, also playing tight. rinse and repeat until you have the number of tables that you usually play. now, you've got reads AND a good image at all your tables.
