Has anyone ever done a standing insurance agreement (LOL HELLMUTH, I know)? As in, has a player traded his all-in results with another player in return for his all-in EV minus a charge? It obviously would require some trust but with datamines etc wouldn't be any harder than any other deal that occurs between poker players (taking pieces, etc). I'm kind of curious if anyone has done this, what people think about it etc. The more I think about it, I'd be willing to give my results to someone for EV and a charge. Not asking for a deal though, just thoughts.

It can be positive for people moving up limits trying to have a linear bankroll path and or those who may tilt due to swings, and it's obviously positive for the insurer who essentially gets 0 EV plus a premium. |

Funny that you mention this because I actually thought about it when I saw your last blog post. I didn't realize that anyone else had ever done it before, but I guess the idea was fairly obvious. |

All forms of insurance are -EV, but you get it anyway for peace of mind and so bad luck doesn't ruin you. |
