Colbert re Glenn Beck

one has to admit...unlike Glen Beck, Colbert is pretty damn funny even tho it seems he is doing the same thing..
(I admit I don't spend my time watching these type of guys enough to know if that's a total fact w/ Colbert or not)

From what I've seen...the main thing I personally don't like about Glen Beck is he will hit upon a bit of truth and then warp it extremely and end up talking about a bunch of crap for quite awhile. I also don't fully trust him either when awhile back I went to his website to learn more and I would of had to become a paying member to get videos of his show.
That right there tells me he is missing a huge point...heh its funny I just remembered hearing Glen Beck saying something about Ron Paul supporters attacking him too, I'll find that video after this post ^^

on the other hand tho, what I mainly do like about Glen Beck and why you might even see me post things with him in it is because even tho he does go extreme at times...unlike MANY MANY other people who are in his position or even higher, Glen Beck will invite or allow Ron Paul onto his show and Glen Beck will at least give Ron Paul enough air time to say his piece even after barging over him

and that is primarily what needs to be happening more than anything, Ron Paul's message needs to get out - WITHOUT FORCING IT

Colbert is a comedian who plays a character that is mocking those right wing idiots like oreilly, hannity and beck.

I dunno. He talks about politics in a public stage that has viewership. But he's a comedian. He's on comedy central. He does all sorts of news, not just politics.

depends on how you define a political figure. to me that sounds more like a politician or a news pundit / commentator (olbermann, limbauh, hannity, maddow)

yep ur right it all depends on the definition, that's why I asked
by mine I'd say he is as he has influence to persuade the minds of ppl one way or another when it comes to politics/government
