I've been messing around with NLHE for a couple of months, spending a good bit of time on the PS play money tables and reading all the relevant books I could get my hands on. I have just started NL2 and would really appreciate advice on the following:

Should I play FR exclusively or commit time to 6handed and HU tables as well? Are SnGs worthwhile at this level?

Is four-tabling decent for learning the game?

Is it appropriate to limp into an unraised pot with:
-77-22 from all positions?
-suited connectors JTs and lower from CO/button?
-AJo and ATo from CO/button? Other positions?
-A9s-A2s from CO/button? Other positions?

Thanks in advance

go with FR playing 6max NL2 is just moron, since every1 is fish why would you rather play with less fish at ur table?

actually just 12 table full ring set mine.

Play AK AQ AJ and every pocket.

Limp 22-TT and raise JJ+

Play JJ-QQ passively

If you miss the board with a low pocket just check/fold dont try fancy/hero play

All in preflop is almost always AA or KK if you hold KK dont be surprised he will flip AA

if you bet and they call you, you are always good or close to. If they min raise 8D you're in dipshit and should proceed with caution or even fold

Thats the ABC to win at NL2 stars ; _;

then she ask me my qualities n bad qualities. so i tell her truth and she kinda laugh at me lol. then i ask her for hers and she gtg. i think it going ok. -Floofy

If youre going to play NL2 6max, you can get away with raising most of this and using continuation betting to take it down on the flop.

I think he can play 6max just fine since it will be a lot quicker and he can probably only 2-4 table effectively right now. 4 tabling FR would be a chore so until you can play 12+ tables at a time you will find yourself really bored.

Other than that though Sennpu is pretty much right. Just play your cards. Put in lots of money when theyre good, make small investments with the little pocket pairs/suited connectors, and you will get paid off.

Side thought: Just a few weeks ago I was playing NL10 and some guy is talking about how he's been playing on stars for 6 years and is down $30k. In that moment I see him lose with J9o. This guy has obviously never bothered to read one single piece of information on poker in his 6 year stint. These are the people you are playing against. I know it seems unfathomable people can play so bad, as you sit here trying to better yourself. But it's really true. Honestly, just assume everyone you are up against has downs syndrome and that it's not their fault.

bye now
