I've been playing the $1.20 9-man S&G's, and a lot of them.
From everyone I've talked to I heard that the $1.20 games are supposed to be super easy. People are really aggressive, playing for stacks with mediocre hands, and are just bad players in general. Well, from the videos I've watched from AMT, it seems like his $36 dollar games last as long as my $1 games. In the last session I played all my bubbles were 200/400 with one 300/600. And, as he put it, when the blinds are that high, it is more of a "crapshoot", and I can see why.
Why the hell is it so hard or am I hitting a bad time of the day? Is it maybe like good players just hitting the lower planets for Battle of the Planets tickets? As far as I know people say that Pokerstars S&G's are usually soft. But obviously this is not the case...
So any advice/input would be appreciated. And how do Matrix SnG's work on Full Tilt exactly?

Play the 18mans - 45mans they are a lot softer than 9mans imo. Matrix SnGs are a pretty big waste of time, don't play them just multitable normally (each sng is 4 tables but the prize money is additionally split so that the 4 players with the best average finishes also gets part of the prize pool) |

1.75$ 18 man sngs are the nutz of eaziness ....
1.) Play tight in the beginning , but do sethunt if u get a chance to limp your pockets without having to face a raise
Wait for QQ-AA or a Set = double up
2.) Final table be tight as fuck till u either get a hand or fall below 12BB
3.) Push without fear when u are good vs average villian ranges
4.) become bigstack -> abuse shit outta everyone

Ahh, thanks for the info.
I really have no MTT experience, but I am pretty good bubble wise.
Well, gonna give it a shot, thanks for the replies. |
