I've been 4-tabling 6handed NL2 as advised in the previous post. After about 3000 hands, I'm up $41. (It was more but I've donked away close to ten bucks in SnGs after a few beers). In the absence of statistical software, I do not know whether that indicates a hot streak or just incredibly squishy competition. So, again, I have a few questions.
Which stat (or combination of stats) is the best criterion for table selection?
What is a comfy BR for starting NL5? I'm thinking of going up at 100-120ish.
At what limit does statistical software like PT3/HEM become vital?
Thanks again!

1. high avg pot $ / lots of players to flop / big stacks
2. 20+ buyins, depending on how comfortable you are
3. at 25nl you can easily afford the lowstakes version of HEM ($55 - you can upgrade to the pro version at a later date too) though you probably dont "need it" until later - it is really useful nonetheless

if you add tons of macro options and units and keep the old obligations like sending scvs to mine, pros will just focus less on micro which sucks imo -Floofy | |

If you like, add me to msn if you have it and we can help each other. Microstakes for the win!
At 2NL and 5NL you don't need PT3 or HEM. All you need is a couple of notes on how your opponent plays etc and that should be enough =) |

PT3 and hem combined offer like 2.5 months of free trial. Get one now, and by the time both trials run out, you can afford the one you like best. They will definitely increase your winrate at almost any stake if used properly |
