wow I keep ending my sessions on deepstacked bad beats. Today I get to flop a set while deep on a 9 high board vs KK, get it all-in on the turn and river brings a K. I keep winning a bunch of small / medium pots and then lost most of it back in 1 huge bad beat.

That's life. Overall things are fine though cause I think I'm winning (still in the no BR checking mode) but this probably coulda been like a 10 buyin heater or better if these deep stacked hands went my way!
I've had a pretty nice weekend though. Went out to dave and busters with friends on Friday night. Pokered saturday and then hung with my GF and one of our friends last night. Then today has been more poker and more laziness. I've been playing much better and that has been very enjoyable. Poker was starting to make me feel like shit earlier this week so taking off till the weekend worked out very well. I've gotta focus on work right now anyway so I will be spending much less time on poker. The fact that I didn't run like total shit this weekend has me wanting to play more though, hehe.
Ok, enough rambling for now.

ya I hate that shit where you earned a nice fat stack and then get coolered/beat for all or a big chunk of it lol. I got like 6 outtered for 175bb or something over one street yesterday. Such is life. |

so true, such is life =)
I'm getting much more used to it than I used to be. I actually barely get phased at all by anything under 100bb - I need to take like back to back to back 100bb or less coolers/beats before it starts affecting me. I still get affected by 150bb + beats though = really gotta work on that |
