Hey again guys, gonna write a blog entry almost exclusively about poker this time.
Last blog post I talked about how I'd been doing, how in general I was swinging quite a bit, but the trend was that I've been losing since restarting after a 4 month break from poker. I'd tried to experiment, but largely unsuccessfully, but also posted that I had started to recover the style that I used to play with some success, and this is how it's continued since then. By and large I've been playing much better poker in the last few days, and although results don't show it, (see below) I'm still happy with the improvement that I've been making. It's taken me a while to remember what I used to do well, why, and how it worked, but my confidence has regrown and I think that I can turn around this month, which I'm currently down 4.4k in, and bring it back into the green by the end of the month.
Despite the new WoW patch coming out just a few days ago I've still managed to put in a lot of hands (above is 15th April until now) and minimised WoW time to just raiding in the morning then not logging on for the rest of the day.

I'll leave with the note that I intend to make another video shortly, somewhere between 50nl and 400nl, but I'm undecided where just yet. I'm leaning towards 50nl or 100nl at the moment since I made a already 400nl one before (That I wasn't very proud of, but still ...). Leave comments if you're interested with what you wanna see, choices are limits and number of tables, up to a maximum of 4. The video will certainly be 6max.

4 tables 200nl  - watched the 400nl and learnt quite a bit from alot of the spots you got into. Good to see you're getting back into poker again |

Awesome that things are getting back on track for you at the tables Midian. I enjoyed your video and rewatched it very recently actually... 100nl/200nl would be very nice and I think they would be far more valuable than a 50nl one where there is an abundance of passive fish.
Also I had no idea that you and lilsusie were dating. Cool  |

Heh, I quit WoW never to return and now they are teasing me with this dual spec system. Is it worth it? Is there anything new? |

Dual spec is so sick. My only complaint is that is should be quad spec. My dual spec is my pvp spec just to save money on respecs so I don't benefit from the on-the-fly respeccing in the middle of a raid, or just to have fun as prot/ret. Of our 3 main tanks that we bring to every raid, one of them is DPS DK main spec and the other is a prot pally main spec that heals for a lot of fights now. |

Dual spec is awesome, yea. Firstly, it makes it much easier to find a group if you wanna pug some heroics or whatnot, since people wouldn't respec before and healers were uncommon, now they're at least a little bit more common since druids, paladins or whatnot can just spec heals as their secondary build. Guild raid utility is improved a great deal also, for instance my main spec is FFB with 2nd spec as Frost PvP (with Focus Magic), in raid I give focus magic to another FFB mage, then switch back to primary spec and still get the Focus Magic benefit, it's pretty sexy. |
