So i really like to watch stuff like gom and 4-6 table poker and i was watching tv with my dad tonight which almost never happens i rarely watch tv. I felt sick and wanted to spend some time with my pops so we watched his favorite tv show, 2 and a half men and then he went to exercise. House came on next after it and i gotta say i really enjoyed it. I've been watching season 5 on hulu but im curious if i should start at the first season???

start from season 4 imo
don't watch the previous seasons if it feels like a chore. catching up 4 straight seasons in a short period of time may kill your enthusiasm but yea house is the shet!!! |

house is probably the only show i consistently enjoy. some of the show's dynamics change over the first three seasons. 1-3 has a lot more medical jargon and in season 3 house's character is taken to a pretty far extreme of unlikeable. starting with season 4 you have pretty much what i'd consider the modern house show although seasons 4 and 5 didn't really have an overarching plot as compelling as season 6.
something about house that's pretty much nonexistent in other shows is that the writing is talented enough and invested enough to add a lot of subtle themes so there's something rewarding for more attentive viewers. like if you watched a season of house drunk you'd be watching essentially a meaningfully different show than if you were watching it sober |

imo the first season is the best! then it becomes somewhat repeating but its still entertaining to watch. If you love S5 start from the beginning - you wont be dissapointed! |

if you think about it 99% of the movies/series these days are so predictable coz they use the same plots just diff characters yet they are still entertaining |
