well you say the problem only happens when your HUD is enabled. Which poker software are you using? It is documented that HEM is a bit resource intensive. If you can easily recreate this scenario but enabling/disabling your hud, then blame your poker software, and try re-installing, downgrading/upgrading to different versoins. I know with HEM specifically you can run a variety of different HUD versions independent of the actual tracking software, so you could try to find an older or newer version of the HUD on their site.
