1) why do you say sykes and Obama? I didn't see Obama wishing for limbaugh to die. you're doing a guilt by association, and by that rational john mccain and michael steele and fox news and a bunch of other people wished death on limbaugh, cause they were all there too.
2) it was a jokeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. there was no real death wishing, it was a freakin joke. That's the point of comedy - exaggeration.
3) I decided to add 1 more point - if we're gonna be all literal and shit, then we might as well keep our literal interpretations consistent. So if we're not going to take it as a joke, then we can't say death was wished upon anyone, cause she said "I hope his kidneys fail" and lots of people have their kidneys fail and live. Kidney failing =/= death.

well Dr. K, kidney failure killed my grandfather and uncle, so yes, kidney failure = death.
sigh...its like they are throwing money out of a helicopter and i dont have any hands...so i just break even.
people survive kidney failure - they get transplants. I'm sure you can find 1 person on the planet who has had kidney failure and lived through it. You're not gonna find anyone who had their head chopped off and is still alive though.
I'm just putting a hole in your logic. Your logic is
1) She said she hopes his kidneys fail
2) Kidney failure = death
Therefore, she said she hopes he dies
But by proving the kidney failure =/= death, your arugment is proven to be logically unsound. My point is that even if we decide to be extremely literal and think that she was really calling for his kidneys to fail, it isn't the same as her saying she hopes he dies.
The bigger argument I'd make is that IT WAS A FUCKING JOKE. =)
